
Dr. Maziar Azadpour grew up in Tehran, Iran. In 1994, he graduated from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and subsequently moved to the United States to continue his medical training. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Griffin Hospital in Connecticut and St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center (Columbia University) in New York City. He then moved to Texas to complete his Cardiology Research Fellowship at the University of Texas and the Texas Heart Institute, as well as his Clinical Cardiology Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida in Miami. He completed his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship in 2006, moving to Oregon to join Cascade Cardiology.
Dr. Azadpour is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI). Additionally, he is a member of the Oregon Medical Association, American Society of Echocardiography, and Mid-Valley Independent Physicians Association (MVIPA). Currently, Dr. Azadpour is serving as the Medical Director for Cardiac Services at Silverton Hospital.
Dr. Azadpour’s areas of interest include coronary artery disease, coronary angiography and intervention, cardiac imaging, peripheral vascular disease and peripheral intervention.
