Originally from Ottawa,Canada Dr. Chagarlamudi attended St. Georges University School of Medicine and graduated in 2008. He went on to attend East Carolina University School of Medicine where he completed his Internal Medicine residency and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology from 2009-2015 .
While completing his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowships, Dr. Chagarlamudi participated in medical missions in developing countries. During his trips to Haiti, Nicaragua and Palestine he provided care to those who usually don’t have the opportunity to receive quality treatment. Dr. Chagarlamudi believes that providing care to under served populations during these missions is some of his most important work.
Dr. Chagarlamudi moved to Salem from Greenville, NC in 2016 and joined Cascade Cardiology. Dr. Chagarlamudi has certifications from American Board of IM/Cardiovascular Disease, and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is currently seeing patients in our Salem, Silverton, and Woodburn clinics as well as Salem Hospital.
