Cascade Cardiology was founded on March 3, 2003 by a small crew dedicated to teamwork, innovation, integrity, compassion and excellence. Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Kirk Walker, along with Sue Snider, an RN specializing in heart failure, and Timothy Taber, an echocardiography sonographer, started the practice in Keizer, Oregon. Satellite clinics were subsequently established in Woodburn and Silverton. In 2005, Cascade Cardiology relocated to the Center for Outpatient Medicine building next to Salem Hospital to gain greater accessibility to their hospitalized patients. As the practice grew, it was necessary to move off campus to provide a state-of-the-art clinic for evaluation and treatment of chronic cardiovascular disease. In May of 2011, Cascade Cardiology relocated to the Meridian Building in Salem. Cascade Cardiology is an accredited facility in both nuclear medicine and echocardiography.
